Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre is an contained community-supported organization. The Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre includes a first-run movie theater and has hosted a variety of events including the pop NPR storytellers, the Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra, theatrical productions, dance classes, studio recitals, competitions, and performances. The g ballroom used as a concert hall and outcome space is known for its exceptional acoustics and elegant surroundings for guest speakers, corporate and private events, and performances of all types.

The Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre celebrates the environmental and social diversity of the Catskill region through performance, film, and visual art. HPAC presents bold programs that create shared experiences to inspire, challenge, and connect audiences.

State Acknowledgement

"The land upon which we gather is part of the traditional territory of the Lenni-Lenape, called "Lenapehoking." The Lenape People lived in harmony with one another upon this territory for thousands of years. During the colonial era and early federal menstruation, many were removed west and north, but some also remain among the continuing historical tribal communities of the region. Artist Residencies

Hurleyville is a pocket-size hamlet in the beautiful setting of the  Catskills with walking trails restaurants and nearby amenities. Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre is dedicated to supporting an immersive artistic feel by offering an inclusive space where artists are free of space and fourth dimension limitations. Upon completion of  the residency artists will have the opportunity to showcase their piece of work in HPAC'due south performance spaces, called outdoor spaces, movie house , or Gallery 222.

The Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre is proud to be partnered with local arts businesses who encourage the enrichment of our community members by engaging them in art appreciation, art creation, invention, and history. "Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity is characterized by the ability to perceive the earth in new ways, to notice subconscious patterns, to brand connections betwixt seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions.
